A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
Walter Winchell
Here are our “walkers in”, Centaur’s true friends, people whose contribution to the foundation and development of hippotherapy in Armenia is invaluable:
Mihran Sahakyan (Armenia)
He made this web site. In fact he was the first supporter and sponsor of the idea. He is the one whose support, understanding and optimism played a great role for hippotherapy to come into being in Armenia.
Haniel and Martin Riviere-Allen (United Kingdom)
Our great friends and the first sponsors of hippotherapy in Armenia. Thanks to them and their friends six children from the Kharberd orphanage for children with special needs as well as three children living in families had an opportunity to attend a 3 months course of hippotherapy. In fact they have as much right to call themselves developers of hippotherapy in Armenia as we have :)

Nicholas Bruno and Anush Dulgaryan (Armenia)
They are the first people whom we shared the idea of starting hippotherapy in Armenia with. Their never-ending enthusiasm and great help in many things makes them an important and inseparable part of hippotherapy in Armenia. A part of their great support are a saddle, bridles and 7 helmets they donated to Centaur!

Jessica Sänger and Uwe Pfeiffer (Germany)
In a small café in Tbilisi where I was studying hippotherapy we raised our glasses with Georgian wine and Jess predicted big success for hippotherapy in Armenia. She was so sure about it that I believed her! And perhaps that belief helped us achieve what we have achieved so far. After all, inspiration is the beginning of every undertaking :) But this is not all. Jessica and Uwe along with their friends saved one of our horses, Salma, from being slaughtered. Her owner wanted to give the horse to a meat-packing factory and Uwe and Jessica helped us buy the horse from him and save her life!

Lilit Arshakyan (Armenia)
This crazy creature is very good at finding right people and right contacts at the right time. She dreams (and plans!) of studying color therapy in Netherlands and applying it in our center of alternative therapy which we are going to turn our center of hippotherapy into. So you will still hear about her!
Chrisandra and Nottingham World Dancing Group (United Kingdom)
Chrisandra and I met and became eternal friends in Nottingham where she gave me my first ever lessons of Armenian dance! She and her partner Jane (they also do horseback riding) have always been among the main supporters of our idea for starting hippotherapy in Armenia.
Chrisandra has also managed to interest her Nottingham World Dancing Group (among their innumerous dances from all around the world are Armenian dances as well) in our activity. The members gathered money for our horses and children by a very unique way-selling to each other things they did not needed! Thank you all for your invaluable help!

Thomas Coon (USA)
First Tom is our friend. Second he has an amazing ability of listening to my ideas, plans and actions concerning the horses and hippotherapy for hours! Third he often gives practical advices for solutions of my emotional ideas. Last but far not the least; he fully proof edited the English version of the website!
Ashot Hovhannisyan (Armenia)
He provides us with shavings for the horses and dogs as well as with different construction materials from his furniture workshop. He and his wonderful family (wife Shushan and sons Gor and Narek) are always next to us willing to help with anything they can and being a great moral support for us.
Dmitri Egorov (Russia)
He helped us buy Salma when she was going to be slaughtered by her former owner. He promotes our activity on his page in Live Journal. He proof edited the Russian version of the website. He keeps on coming with more and more new ideas of how to develop hippotherapy and horse tourism in Armenia!
Apres Zohrabyan (Armenia)
Along with his hiking group Bnatachar he made a big present for the little clients of our center - a playground with three wings! A while ago they included Centaur in their hiking rout and are always welcomed guests at our center!
