Centaur is the first and only hippotherapy center in Armenia. Since 2007 we have been working with the children and adults with physical and mental disorders such as CP, autism, mental deficiency, Down syndrome, scoliosis and other spinal problems, nerve system disorders and so on. Within the 4 years of our existence over 100 children and adults have been experiencing a magic healing power of the Horse.

So far we have been renting the stable and the area we are working in. 6 of 8 horses also belong to the owner of the place though we organize care, training and fodder for all of them.

Now due to the financial problems he faces the owner puts the stable and horses on sale. For 6 horses, the stable and land of 7000 sqm in the village of Ushi, marz Aragatsotn, he wants 50 000 dollars.

We do not have 50 000 USD. It is a very big sum for one person but for 100, 1000, 10 000 it is not much. We created an account and organized fundraising, on Facebook as well. Within 4 months we have gathered 3000 dollars. We have few more months and we believe that together we can gather the necessary sum.

Centaur is not just a hippotherapy center or a horseback riding club. Centaur is a fairy tale for many children and adults which overcome their physical and mental troubles with the help of the Horse, learn horseback riding and build relationship with the Horse, as well as dogs (we have 8 of them). If we do not manage to buy the land and horses the only hippotherapy center will stop existing and that will be a tragedy not only for us but also for many people regaining hope with Centaur.
